Collection: Akoukou Classics

The 'Akoukou Classics' collection features the third generation of ceramic vessels created by Nicole Akoukou Thompson. Some pieces are made of porcelain, while most are a blend of "dark dark brown" clay and white clay. The glaze on the stoneware pieces run the gamut, but frequently features blues, greens and brown. Rather than using a stamp, these pieces are signed by the artist, and each piece is edited and trimmed for a balanced finish.
